Savita Oil Technologies reported Q4 FY25 total income of Rs. 1,011.7 crore, crossing the Rs. 1,000 crore quarterly revenue mark for the first time, up 1.5% YoY and 6.3% QoQ. Full-year FY25 revenue grew modestly to Rs. 3,859.7 crore (up 1.2% YoY). However, profitability was weak — FY25 EBITDA fell sharply to Rs. 207.8 crore (down 36% YoY) with EBITDA margin compressing to 5.4% from 8.5% the previous year, and full-year profit before tax dropped 41% to Rs. 155.7 crore. The company highlighted double-digit volume growth in transformer oils and lubricants, 80% growth in Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), and muted demand in white and mineral oils. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 4 per share (200%) on a face value of Rs. 2.
Mixed results for shareholders — topline growth was anaemic while bottom-line contracted sharply on a full-year basis due to margin pressure, brand-building investments, and crude oil volatility. The strong dividend and volume growth in core segments offer some comfort, but the significant EBITDA margin compression is a concern that may weigh on near-term sentiment.
