The Board of Sayaji Hotels approved its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half-year ended 30th September 2025 at its meeting held on 13th November 2025. Standalone revenue from operations grew about 12.6% year-on-year in Q2 FY26 to Rs. 3,166.78 lakhs (vs Rs. 2,812.50 lakhs in Q2 FY25), but the company slipped into a loss of Rs. (328.73) lakhs compared to a profit of Rs. 81.79 lakhs in the same quarter last year, mainly due to sharp increases in employee costs and finance costs. On a consolidated basis, the loss widened to Rs. (984.99) lakhs in Q2 (vs Rs. 129.60 lakhs loss), heavily dragged down by a share of loss of Rs. (1,146.68) lakhs from its associate Barbeque Nation Hospitality in the half-year. The statutory auditor (Manish Joshi & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review report with no modifications.
Negative quarter for shareholders as the company swung to losses both standalone and consolidated, with rising staff and finance costs squeezing margins and associate Barbeque Nation continuing to weigh on consolidated earnings. The clean auditor report removes governance concerns, but the weak profitability may put pressure on the stock in the near term.
