The Board of Sayaji Industries approved the unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025). Standalone revenue from operations came in at Rs 24,887.79 lakhs, down about 3.5% from Rs 25,801.42 lakhs in Q1 FY25. The company continued to post losses, with a standalone loss after tax of Rs 368.25 lakhs (vs Rs 548.32 lakhs loss in Q1 FY25) and a consolidated loss after tax of Rs 349.22 lakhs (worse than Rs 287.10 lakhs loss in Q1 FY25). On the consolidated side, the loss widened, but standalone loss narrowed. The Board also approved a bonus share issue in a 1:3 ratio (3 bonus shares for every 1 held), to be funded by capitalising Rs 9.48 crore out of retained earnings, and increased authorised share capital from Rs 5 crore to Rs 15 crore. The 84th AGM is scheduled for 25 September 2025.
The bonus issue is likely to be viewed positively by retail investors as it increases share liquidity and signals management's confidence. However, the continued quarterly losses, declining standalone revenue, and widening consolidated loss may weigh on sentiment and keep the stock under pressure in the near term.
