SBEC Sugar Limited submitted newspaper clippings of its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025, as mandated under SEBI LODR Regulation 47. Standalone total income rose to Rs. 146.75 crore from Rs. 137.13 crore in the same quarter last year, a growth of about 7%. Despite higher revenue, the company reported a standalone net loss of Rs. 25.54 crore for the quarter, only marginally better than the Rs. 26.08 crore loss in Q2 FY25. For H1 FY26, standalone net loss stood at Rs. 48.92 crore with EPS of Rs. (10.27). Consolidated Q2 loss was Rs. 28.58 crore. Reserves remain deeply negative at about Rs. (108.72) crore standalone and Rs. (104.45) crore consolidated, reflecting accumulated past losses. The results were approved by the Board on November 12, 2025.
The company continues to post quarterly losses with reserves far below zero, indicating a weak balance sheet, though the narrow improvement in losses and steady revenue growth offer some modest comfort for shareholders.
