SBI Cards reported strong Q4 FY26 results with PAT at ₹609 Cr (up 14% YoY), driven by improved credit costs and higher fee income. For full FY26, total income grew 11% to ₹20,708 Cr and PAT rose 13% to ₹2,167 Cr. New account sourcing reached 9.17 lakh in Q4 (up 17% YoY) with total spends surging 31% YoY to ₹115,350 Cr. Receivables stood flat QoQ at ₹56,926 Cr. Most notably, asset quality improved significantly with GNPA dropping 67 bps YoY to 2.41% and credit cost declining to 7.7% from 8.6% in FY25. ROAA improved to 3.6% and ROAE to 15.6%. Capital adequacy remains robust at 25.5%.
Positive signals for shareholders as strong profitability growth combined with improving asset quality and declining credit costs indicate healthy business momentum. The significant drop in NPAs to 2.41% reduces credit risk concerns.
