SBI Cards reported strong Q4 FY26 results with PAT up 14% YoY at Rs 609 Cr and full-year PAT up 13% at Rs 2,167 Cr. Total revenue grew 7% YoY in Q4 to Rs 5,187 Cr and 11% for FY26 to Rs 20,708 Cr. The company achieved significant improvement in asset quality with Gross NPA declining from 3.08% to 2.41% and Net NPA from 1.46% to 1.04%. Spends grew strongly by 31% YoY to Rs 115,350 Cr in Q4, driving market share gains in spends from 15.7% to 18.1%. However, new account volumes declined to 917K from 1,109K, and operating costs increased sharply by 24% in Q4 and 22% for the year. Capital adequacy remains robust at 25.5% with Tier 1 at 20.0%.
Positive results with strong profitability growth and improved asset quality indicate healthy business fundamentals. The 31% spends growth and market share gains are encouraging, though rising operating costs and declining new account volumes warrant monitoring. The strong capital position provides cushion for future growth.
