Schaeffler India has written to shareholders asking them to update their KYC details, including bank account information, in line with a SEBI amendment to Regulation 12 of the Listing Regulations notified on 18 November 2025. Under the amended rule, all future payments such as dividends, interest, and redemption or repayment amounts will be made only through electronic modes like bank transfers, with no physical cheques or warrants issued. Shareholders holding shares in physical form need to submit Forms ISR-1, ISR-2, ISR-3, SH-13 and SH-14 to the company's Registrar MUFG Intime India (formerly Link Intime), while those with demat accounts must update details through their Depository Participant. The company also reminded shareholders to claim any unpaid dividends, as amounts unclaimed for seven years will be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF).
This is a routine regulatory compliance communication and is unlikely to affect the stock price. Shareholders who have not updated their bank details risk delays or loss of future dividend payments, and unclaimed dividends beyond seven years will move to the IEPF.
