Seamec Ltd reported strong financial performance for FY 2026 ending March 31. Standalone revenue grew 46% to Rs 90,194 lakhs from Rs 61,733 lakhs, while profit after tax more than doubled to Rs 24,235 lakhs from Rs 11,555 lakhs. EPS improved to Rs 95.30 from Rs 45.44. Consolidated revenue reached Rs 95,246 lakhs with PAT of Rs 25,352 lakhs, up 188% year-on-year. The board approved and recommended a 20% dividend (Rs 2 per share) subject to shareholder approval. The company also approved increasing related party transaction limits with parent HAL Offshore Limited from USD 50 million to USD 65 million per annum for charter hire and diving services. Auditors T R Chadha & Co LLP issued unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated financials.
Strong profitability growth and maiden/enhanced dividend signals positive shareholder returns. The related party transaction with HAL Offshore needs shareholder approval but appears to be at arm's length and in ordinary course of business. The impairment provision of Rs 1,637 lakhs for overseas subsidiaries due to geopolitical risks is a watch item but did not materially impact FY 2026 earnings.
