Sebi cancels registration of 12 research analysts over unpaid renewal fees

SEBI has cancelled the registration certificates of 12 research analysts, including individuals such as Arjun Lenin, Anita Patnaik, and entities like CNI Research, East Bridge Advisors, and R K Global Shares & Securities Ltd, for failing to pay renewal fees. Unpaid periods range from March 2025 to 2026 depending on the entity. The cancellation, effective immediately, was issued after the noticees did not respond to SEBI's show-cause notices served in late May and early June, and is intended to prevent misuse of inactive certificates by investors.
