Sensex jumps 600 points, Nifty 50 ends above 24,150; investors earn ₹3 lakh crore. What drove the market higher?

Indian stock market posted gains for the second consecutive session on 2 July, with the Sensex rising 579 points (0.75%) to close at 77,502.12 and the Nifty 50 gaining 170 points (0.71%) to end at 24,175.70. Healthy buying across segments boosted investor wealth by about Rs 3 lakh crore.
