Sera Investments & Finance India, an NBFC, reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 2,521.91 lacs for Q3 FY26, up sharply from Rs. 212.21 lacs in Q3 FY25. Net profit after tax jumped to Rs. 2,003.13 lacs versus Rs. 89.53 lacs a year earlier, with EPS of Rs. 3.06 vs Rs. 0.14. For the 9-month period (Apr-Dec 2025), revenue stood at Rs. 2,992.79 lacs (vs Rs. 933.06 lacs) and PAT at Rs. 2,103.70 lacs (vs Rs. 51.94 lacs). Other Comprehensive Income was unusually large at Rs. 31,968.59 lacs, driven by unrealised mark-to-market gains on its investment in Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Ltd shares/warrants received under a resolution plan. The statutory auditor SDPM & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) limited review report on both standalone and consolidated results.
Headline earnings show explosive year-on-year growth, but most of the total comprehensive income is unrealised paper gains on a single investment. Shareholders should note that operating profit and cash earnings are far smaller than the headline OCI-driven numbers suggest, so the stock may stay volatile with movements in that investment.
