Q1 FY27 results: Revenue up 28%, PAT nearly doubles YoY

Seshasayee Paper & Boards posted strong Q1FY27 results. Standalone revenue from operations rose to Rs 492 cr from Rs 385 cr, up about 28 percent year on year. Net profit jumped to Rs 33.59 cr from Rs 17.06 cr, nearly doubling. EPS stood at Rs 5.58 versus Rs 2.83. Total income was Rs 505.25 cr. No exceptional items reported. Auditor Suri and Co issued a clean limited review report. Separately, the board appointed R.J Ramesh as nominee director replacing Kumar Jayant, pending shareholder approval via postal ballot.
