Shah Metacorp has received approval from NSE and BSE to list 3,55,00,000 equity shares (face value Re. 1) that were issued to Promoters on a preferential basis following the conversion of warrants. The shares were allotted on June 9, 2025 at an issue price of Rs. 4.02 per share (Re. 1 face value plus Rs. 3.02 premium). These shares will begin trading on both exchanges from November 3, 2025 and will rank equally with existing shares. All 3.55 crore shares are subject to a mandatory lock-in period until May 2, 2027, meaning Promoters cannot sell them before that date.
Shareholders should note a dilution of about 3.55 crore new shares to Promoters, which increases the total share base. However, since these shares are locked in until May 2027, there is no immediate supply overhang, and Promoter holding is being strengthened rather than weakened.
