Shalby Ltd reported Q4 FY26 consolidated revenue of ₹2,955 mn (up 9.4% YoY) with EBITDA at ₹374 mn (up 43.1%) and PAT at ₹185 mn vs a loss of ₹122 mn in Q4 FY25, driven by strong MedTech performance and reduced losses at Shalby International. FY26 consolidated revenue was ₹11,682 mn (up 4.8%). Standalone hospital business showed margin pressure with Q4 EBITDA margin declining to 16.1% (vs 17.7% in Q4 FY25) and FY26 EBITDA at ₹1,696 mn down 8.7% YoY with margin compression to 18.4% from 20.7%. MedTech segment is a bright spot with Q4 FY26 revenue of ₹400 mn (up 45% YoY) and FY26 revenue of ₹1,350 mn (up 46%). Shalby International continues to be loss-making (FY26 PBT loss of ₹307 mn) though improving from prior year. Net debt at consolidated level is ₹4,462 mn with ROCE at 7.3%.
The standalone hospital business is facing margin erosion due to rising costs (materials and doctor fees up as % of revenue), while the MedTech division is offsetting this at consolidated level. The company targets doubling ROCE through operational leverage from its 40% available bed capacity with limited capex needs.
