Shalimar Paints reported standalone revenue of Rs 569.03 crore for FY26, down 5% from Rs 599.06 crore in FY25. The company narrowed its net loss to Rs 63.34 crore from Rs 80.11 crore in the prior year. For Q4 standalone, revenue was Rs 153.06 crore with a net loss of Rs 6.18 crore. The company achieved positive EBITDA for the first time since Hella Infra Market acquired majority stake, driven by cost rationalization and premium product mix. Exceptional items of Rs 4.60 crore relate to one-time labour code compliance charges. The consolidated net loss stood at Rs 64.95 crore (restated). Accumulated losses aggregate Rs 543.73 crore on standalone basis.
Despite revenue decline and continued losses, the company showed improved operational performance with positive EBITDA and reduced losses. However, negative working capital (current liabilities exceed current assets by Rs 65.48 crore) and accumulated losses remain significant concerns for shareholders, though management cites going concern assumptions based on asset monetization plans and holding company support.
