Shankar Lal Rampal Dye-Chem Ltd reported annual revenue of Rs 46,480.86 Lakhs for FY26, up 15.7% from Rs 40,178.43 Lakhs in FY25. Net profit after tax grew 18.4% to Rs 1,349.08 Lakhs from Rs 1,139.24 Lakhs. EPS improved from Rs 1.78 to Rs 2.11. However, the company continues to face negative operating cash flow of Rs 705.16 Lakhs (improved from Rs 1,258.76 Lakhs prior year), primarily due to rising trade receivables of Rs 10,177.15 Lakhs. Short-term borrowings increased significantly to Rs 2,537.11 Lakhs from Rs 1,785.34 Lakhs. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. Related party transactions were disclosed including director remuneration of Rs 84 Lakhs and interest payments to directors.
Revenue and profit showed healthy growth but negative operating cash flow and rising receivables raise concerns about working capital management. The clean audit opinion is positive for investors.
