Sharat Industries' Board approved Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) standalone and consolidated unaudited results, which were subjected to a limited review by A.R. Krishnan & Associates. Revenue from operations rose to Rs. 11,519.76 lakhs from Rs. 8,984.78 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a YoY growth of about 28%. Profit after tax jumped to Rs. 537 lakhs from Rs. 305.58 lakhs, up roughly 76% YoY, pushing basic EPS to Rs. 1.39 from Rs. 1.28. The company is a single-segment aquaculture business focused on Vannamei (white shrimp) breeding and culture. During the quarter it received the first and final call money of Rs. 23.25 per share on 14.46 lakh shares, while calls in arrears stood at about Rs. 1 crore on 4.31 lakh shares.
Strong topline growth and a sharp jump in profit signal improving operating momentum for the shrimp aquaculture business, which is positive for shareholders. Investors should note the Rs. 1 crore in unpaid call money, which is a small but worth tracking.
