Share India Securities reported Q1 FY26 standalone revenue from operations of ₹27,314 lakhs, down about 16% from ₹32,475 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Standalone profit after tax came in at ₹6,873 lakhs versus ₹7,282 lakhs a year earlier, with basic EPS of ₹3.45 (vs ₹3.67). On a consolidated basis, revenue fell around 18% YoY to ₹34,141 lakhs and PAT declined to ₹8,438 lakhs from ₹10,296 lakhs, though basic EPS improved slightly to ₹3.86. Operating margins actually expanded sharply — standalone operating margin rose to 40.21% from 32.28%, helped by lower fees/commission and employee costs. The board declared a first interim dividend of ₹0.30 per share, approved raising up to ₹300 crore via NCDs/Commercial Paper, and announced new investments of ~₹121 crore in Master Trust, MSEI, and its wholly owned subsidiary Share India Fincap.
Year-on-year topline and profit declined, which may weigh on the stock in the short term, but expanding operating margins and strong quarter-on-quarter recovery from a weak Q4 suggest underlying profitability is healthy. The dividend declaration, fresh fundraising plan, and new subsidiary/acquisition moves signal continued business expansion, which is generally positive for long-term shareholders.
