The Board of Shilp Gravures approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations rose to Rs. 8,261.09 lakhs from Rs. 7,769.87 lakhs, a growth of about 6.3%. However, net profit for FY25 fell sharply to Rs. 420.81 lakhs from Rs. 1,121.08 lakhs, mainly because other income from investment gains dropped from Rs. 760.82 lakhs to Rs. 204.66 lakhs and employee costs rose. Q4 FY25 standalone slipped into a loss of Rs. 85.31 lakhs against a profit of Rs. 132.48 lakhs in Q4 FY24. Auditors Shah & Shah Associates issued an unmodified opinion. A final dividend of Rs. 2.10 (21%) per share was recommended. Two new Executive Directors were appointed and leadership roles were reshuffled.
Sharp profit decline despite modest revenue growth and a Q4 loss are negatives for shareholders, though the dividend payout and clean audit opinion provide some comfort. The leadership changes are administrative and unlikely to move the stock on their own.
