The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Shri Chandran Durai Daniel, currently General Manager at SCI, as Director (Bulk Carriers & Tankers) on the Board. Daniel is an internal candidate who joined SCI in 1989 as a Trainee Nautical Officer and has spent approximately 36 years in the company, progressing through various senior roles across shore and sea assignments. He is not related to any existing Director and is not debarred from holding the director position. With this appointment, Rear Admiral Jaswinder Singh has ceased to hold the additional charge of Director (Bulk Carriers & Tankers) from the same date and time.
