Shirpur Gold Refinery Ltd, currently under Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) since June 2024, has postponed the Resolution Professional Committee meeting that was supposed to approve its audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025. The Resolution Professional cited delays in receiving necessary information and explanations from the company's foreign subsidiary, which is itself undergoing bankruptcy proceedings in Dubai courts. The RP has stated that he is unable to submit the audited financial results within the timelines prescribed by SEBI's LODR Regulations. The meeting, originally scheduled for May 28, 2025 and then moved to May 29, 2025, will be rescheduled further pending receipt of legal opinions and required information.
Shareholders face continued uncertainty as the company remains under insolvency proceedings and will miss the regulatory deadline for submitting audited results. This delay, combined with the insolvency status of both the parent and its foreign subsidiary, signals serious financial distress and makes it unlikely that the stock will see any positive price action until the CIRP is resolved.
