Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
Shirpur Gold Refinery Limited has informed the stock exchanges that it cannot submit its unaudited financial results (both standalone and consolidated) for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, within the SEBI deadline. The company is currently under Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) after the NCLT Mumbai Bench admitted it into insolvency on June 24, 2024. Ashish Vyas, the Resolution Professional (RP), cited unresolved issues with the suspended Board of Directors that are delaying the preparation of accounts. The RP mentioned his team is working diligently to compile records in physical and electronic formats but finalisation has been held up by unforeseen circumstances. The company remains under moratorium and its original board remains suspended, with the RP handling the affairs under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
Shareholders should view this as a strongly negative development — the company continues to struggle under insolvency with no board in place, missed regulatory deadlines, and ongoing delays in basic financial reporting. Expect continued stock price weakness, low trading liquidity, and heightened risk of total loss until a resolution plan is approved by the NCLT.
