Shiva Mills' board approved audited results for Q4/FY25. Full-year revenue from operations rose to Rs 16,930.54 lakhs (vs Rs 15,791.91 lakhs in FY24), a 7.2% growth, but the net loss widened to Rs 381.12 lakhs (from Rs 324.91 lakhs loss in FY24). Q4 FY25 revenue dropped to Rs 4,103.89 lakhs (from Rs 4,731.65 lakhs) with a Q4 net loss of Rs 76.83 lakhs versus a Rs 44.72 lakh profit a year ago. No dividend was declared. The board also approved partial modification of remuneration for Managing Director S V Alagappan and Joint MD A Lalitha, effective 31 August 2025, pending shareholder approval. Statutory auditor VKS Aiyer & Co issued an unmodified opinion. Additionally, M Nagarajan was re-appointed as Cost Auditor, M/s B M & Associates as Internal Auditor for FY26, and R Dhanasekaran was appointed as Secretarial Auditor for five years (1 April 2025 to 31 March 2030).
Investors should note that while top-line grew, profitability deteriorated further with widening annual losses and a swing back into Q4 loss, and no dividend was declared. The auditor re-appointments suggest continuity, but the ongoing losses and remuneration hike for promoter MDs may draw shareholder attention at the upcoming AGM.
