Shree Cement reported strong Q4 FY26 performance with domestic cement sales volume of 10.56 million tons, up 11% YoY and 25% sequentially. Operating EBITDA jumped 34% QoQ to INR 1,212 crores with EBITDA per ton at INR 1,125. The company commissioned a new integrated plant at Kodla, Karnataka taking total India capacity to 69.3 million tons. Management confirmed a 36% increase in total dividend to INR 150/share. Looking ahead, management guided FY27 capex at approximately INR 1,500 crores and expects to reach 40 million tons cement volume. The company faces cost inflation headwinds (fuel and packaging costs up INR 150-200/ton) due to Middle East geopolitical tensions and has taken INR 25/bag price hikes to mitigate. Net cash position stands at INR 6,400 crores with no near-term debt plans.
Strong Q4 execution with volume recovery and margin expansion demonstrates effective pricing strategy execution. Management's decision to slow capex and maintain cash position provides balance sheet flexibility amid cost inflation headwinds from geopolitical tensions.
