Shree Digvijay Cement Company has appointed Mr. Amit Arora as Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, effective from 24th August 2026 for a 5-year term, subject to shareholder approval. The appointment fills a vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. R. Krishnakumar. Mr. Arora, aged 43, is currently Plant Head at Vicat Group's Kalaburgi Cement and brings over 20 years of cement industry experience, having previously worked with ACC Limited and Holcim Group. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from IIM Indore. He is designated as Key Managerial Personnel under the Companies Act, 2013 and is not related to any existing directors or KMPs.
The appointment brings in an experienced external leader with proven cement industry expertise. Shareholders should note this is a replacement appointment following the departure of the previous CEO, with the new leader taking charge from August 2026.
