Shree Karthik Papers Ltd's Board approved unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended 30 September 2025 on 6 November 2025. For Q2 FY26, the company reported total income of about Rs 16.09 crore and a thin net profit of Rs 0.06 crore (EPS Rs 0.03), but this profit was supported by an exceptional gain of Rs 0.09 crore — without it, the quarter would have slipped into a small operating loss. H1 FY26 net profit of roughly Rs 0.39 crore came in almost flat against H1 FY25 (also Rs 0.39 crore), despite a modest rise in revenue. The statutory auditor, Paul & Aravind LLP, issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. The balance sheet remains weak: other equity is deeply negative at around Rs -6.55 crore due to accumulated losses, cash and equivalents are just Rs 0.02 crore, and current borrowings of Rs 21.97 crore dwarf available liquidity.
The weak Q2 print, propped up by a one-off exceptional gain, points to sluggish core operations. With negative reserves, very low cash, and heavy short-term borrowings, shareholders should weigh concerns about near-term profitability and financial stability.
