The Board approved the unaudited standalone financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Revenue from operations stood at ₹8,554.40 lakhs, up about 36% sequentially from ₹6,275.01 lakhs in Q4 FY25 but nearly flat year-on-year (₹8,473.93 lakhs in Q1 FY25). Profit after tax came in at ₹95.71 lakhs, a sharp drop of about 59% from ₹234.60 lakhs in the same quarter last year, though the company returned to profitability from a loss of ₹139.98 lakhs in the previous quarter. Finance costs nearly doubled to ₹188.57 lakhs from ₹75.44 lakhs, putting pressure on margins. The liquor segment remains the main profit driver (₹384.55 lakhs) while edible oils continued to post a loss of ₹26.55 lakhs. The Board also appointed M/s Mohan Gupta & Co., Chartered Accountants, as Internal Auditor for FY 2025-26. Reserves excluding revaluation reserves remain negative at ₹(879.68) lakhs. Statutory auditor Pawan Shubham & Co. issued an unmodified limited review report.
Weak YoY earnings despite stable revenue and rising finance costs suggest margin pressure for shareholders. The negative reserves position remains a concern, though the statutory auditor's report is clean. Watch for liquor segment performance, which drives nearly all profitability.
