The Board approved unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Standalone total income rose to Rs. 14,193.60 lakhs from Rs. 12,332.91 lakhs in Q1 FY25, while net profit after tax jumped to Rs. 1,291.55 lakhs from Rs. 953.17 lakhs, aided by an exceptional item of Rs. 285.82 lakhs from an insurance claim settlement. EPS stood at Rs. 14.75 versus Rs. 10.88 a year ago. The Board also recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.75 per share (75% on face value of Rs. 1) for FY25, subject to shareholder approval. Separately, statutory auditor SVJK and Associates resigned effective August 14, 2025 citing busy schedule and heavy workload, and Jain KS and Associates has been appointed in their place from August 15, 2025 to fill the casual vacancy.
Strong Q1 performance with PAT growing over 35% YoY boosts investor confidence, supported by a healthy dividend. The mid-year auditor change is procedural as the resignation cites workload reasons rather than audit concerns, but shareholders should watch for a smooth transition at the new auditor.
