Shri Pankaj Joshi, IAS has resigned as Chairman and Managing Director of Gujarat State Petronet Ltd (GSPL) with effect from 31st October 2025. The resignation is on account of his superannuation as Chief Secretary to Government of Gujarat, as per a GAD notification dated 28th October 2025. The company received his resignation letter on 1st November 2025 and has informed the stock exchanges under SEBI Listing Regulations. Shri Joshi is also stepping down as Chairman/Director from several other Gujarat state entities including GSFC, GNFC, GSPC, Gujarat Gas, GIGL and GITL.
This is a routine leadership change triggered by the CMD's government superannuation and not linked to any governance or performance concerns. Shareholders may see short-term uncertainty until a new CMD is appointed, but no fundamental impact on the company's operations is expected.
