SIL Investments Limited has informed the stock exchanges about a SEBI-mandated special window for re-lodging physical share transfer requests. This window is for shareholders whose transfer deeds were lodged before 01st April, 2019 and were rejected, returned, or left unprocessed due to documentation issues. The re-lodgement window runs for six months, from 07th July, 2025 to 06th January, 2026. Shareholders who missed the earlier 31st March, 2021 cut-off can now approach the company's Registrar and Transfer Agent, MUFG Intime India Private Limited, to complete pending transfers. Importantly, any shares re-lodged during this period will be issued only in demat mode, so shareholders must have a demat account and provide a Client Master List along with the original documents.
This is a routine compliance announcement with no direct impact on the stock price or company financials. Shareholders who have unresolved physical share transfer requests from before April 2019 get a second chance to complete the process, but they will need to convert holdings into demat form.
