Simbhaoli Sugars has published its audited consolidated financial results for Q4 FY25 and the full year ended March 31, 2025 in Business Standard (English and Hindi) on March 12, 2026. The results were certified by the CFO and taken on record by the Interim Resolution Professional (IRP), as the company is still under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) initiated by Punjab National Bank (formerly Oriental Bank of Commerce) in July 2024. Full-year FY25 total income from operations fell to Rs 99,669.05 lakhs from Rs 120,341.28 lakhs in FY24, a decline of about 17%. However, the net loss narrowed sharply to Rs 1,981.19 lakhs in FY25 from Rs 3,045.86 lakhs in FY24, and Q4 FY25 swung to a net profit of Rs 777.64 lakhs versus a loss in the preceding quarter. EPS improved to Rs 0.32 in FY25 from a negative Rs 5.35 in FY24.
The stock remains under cloud as the CIRP is still ongoing, and the company's other equity is deeply negative at Rs (16,643.64) lakhs, meaning shareholders' value is technically eroded. The narrowed annual loss and return to profit in Q4 are modestly encouraging operational signals, but resolution status and creditor outcome will continue to drive the stock more than quarterly numbers.
