Simran Farms Limited reported total standalone revenue of Rs. 8,771.33 Lakhs for FY26, up from Rs. 8,362.42 Lakhs in FY25, representing approximately 5% revenue growth. However, Profit After Tax (PAT) declined to Rs. 494.55 Lakhs from Rs. 579.50 Lakhs in the previous year, a decrease of about 15%. Basic EPS dropped from Rs. 15.28 to Rs. 13.02. Q4 FY26 showed a turnaround with PAT of Rs. 279.25 Lakhs compared to a loss of Rs. 324.38 Lakhs in Q4 FY25. The company declared an unmodified audit opinion with no qualifications. Consolidated results include subsidiary Puregene Biotech Limited, which contributed Rs. 54.64 Lakhs revenue and Rs. 14.22 Lakhs PAT.
Revenue growth of only 5% and a 15% decline in PAT could disappoint shareholders; however, Q4 recovery from significant losses is a positive sign. The clean audit opinion provides some comfort.
