Singer India has published a notice in Financial Express and Jansatta informing shareholders that their unclaimed final dividends and equity shares will be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). Under Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013, shares belonging to shareholders who have not claimed dividends for seven consecutive years from FY 2018-19 onwards are liable for transfer. Individual notices were already sent via email and speed post. Shareholders must claim their unclaimed dividends on or before September 22, 2026 to avoid transfer of shares to the IEPF Demat Account.
Shareholders with unclaimed dividends for 7+ years from FY 2018-19 must claim by Sept 22, 2026, or their shares will be moved to IEPF and future benefits forfeited.
