SIS Limited reported its highest-ever quarterly consolidated revenue of INR 3,428 crores, up 9.3% year-on-year, with all three segments (India Security, Facility Management, and International Security) posting record revenues. Consolidated EBITDA grew 10.1% to INR 165 crores at a 4.8% margin, while operating profit after tax jumped 53% to INR 83 crores. Reported PAT showed a loss of INR 223 crores due to a one-time, non-cash goodwill impairment of INR 306 crores related to older acquisitions (Henderson, SLV, Uniq, ADIS), which management said is now fully completed. Net debt fell sharply to INR 429 crores from INR 889 crores a year ago, bringing net debt-to-EBITDA to 0.7x, the lowest since June 2021. International Security booked AUD 180 million in new wins in FY25, including defence and Sydney trains contracts, and the Cash JV DRHP has received first SEBI feedback.
The strong operating performance, debt reduction, and margin recovery across all segments are positive signals for shareholders, though the headline loss from goodwill impairment may cause short-term confusion. Investors should focus on operating metrics — EBITDA growth, deleveraging, and the AUD 180 million order pipeline — which suggest improving fundamentals and no further major impairment risk.
