SKF India informed the exchanges that shareholders, through a Postal Ballot concluded on 17th March 2026, have approved the appointment of three new Non-Executive, Non-Independent Directors with effect from 13th January 2026. The three directors are Mr. Antonio Molle (currently Global Operations Director Automotive at SKF Group), Mr. Bastian Thomas (Director – Head of Sales Americas, EMEA & India at SKF), and Mr. Magnus Lennart Prick (Head of Automotive Corporate Legal at SKF Group). All three are senior executives from the SKF Group (the parent company), and none of them are independent directors. Their appointments were first cleared by the Board on 10th January 2026 and then put to shareholders for formal approval.
This is a routine governance update and is unlikely to move the stock. The new directors are representatives of SKF's global parent group, which means the company's board now has stronger direct oversight from senior global leadership in operations, sales, and legal functions. For shareholders, this could mean better alignment with the parent group's strategy but does not change the company's operations or financial outlook.
