Skipper Limited's Rights Issue Committee met on June 19, 2025, and approved the conversion of 59,638 partly paid-up Rights Equity Shares (Re. 0.25 paid-up) into fully paid-up equity shares (Re. 1.00 paid-up). This follows the company's collection of the first and final call money of Rs. 145.50 per share from its 2024 Rights Issue (Letter of Offer dated January 17, 2024). The company has received Rs. 198.46 Crores against the total issue size of Rs. 199.18 Crores, achieving 99.64% collection. Post-conversion, the paid-up capital of the company has increased to Rs. 11,28,86,983 divided into 11,28,86,983 fully paid-up equity shares of Re. 1 each. Additionally, 3,818 equity shares from earlier committee meetings remain pending listing on BSE/NSE due to technical issues, though discrepancies on 2,121 of those have been resolved.
This signals the near-completion of Skipper's 2024 rights issue with very strong subscription at 99.64%, boosting paid-up capital and share base. For shareholders, this is largely a procedural update that completes the capital raise, with the increased share count having a mild dilutive effect on EPS going forward.
