SKP Securities Limited reported FY25 total revenue from operations of Rs. 3,850.38 lacs, up about 26% from Rs. 3,053.16 lacs in FY24, driven mainly by brokerage and fee income (Rs. 3,063.50 lacs vs Rs. 2,515.50 lacs). Net profit for the full year rose to Rs. 998.95 lacs from Rs. 864.55 lacs, a growth of roughly 15.5%, with EPS at Rs. 14.67 vs Rs. 12.70. However, the standalone Q4 picture was weak, with Q4 net profit falling sharply to Rs. 115.88 lacs from Rs. 284.76 lacs in Q4 FY24, even as Q4 revenue was broadly flat. The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2 per share. Statutory auditors S K Agrawal and Co issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion, and total equity strengthened to Rs. 5,071.52 lacs.
Strong full-year revenue and profit growth, along with a steady dividend, are positives for shareholders. However, the steep drop in Q4 profit and a swing to negative operating cash flow of Rs. (721.24) lacs (vs Rs. 453.35 lacs last year) flag working capital and cash quality concerns that investors should watch closely.
