Small-cap stock under ₹50 hits 20% upper circuit after Q1FY27 results

Shares of small-cap Vellora Impact were locked in a 20 percent upper circuit on 23 July after the company posted a sharp turnaround in Q1FY27 results. Net profit surged to about 7.90 crore from a loss of 2.11 crore in the year-ago quarter, while revenue from operations jumped to 141.92 crore from just 1.17 crore in the previous quarter, with the entire performance driven by its agriculture segment.
