Smartworks Coworking Spaces, which got listed on NSE and BSE on July 17, 2025, reported its first quarterly results post-IPO. Standalone revenue from operations rose about 18% year-on-year to ₹3,647.85 million (vs ₹3,093.04 million in Q1 FY25), while consolidated revenue grew roughly 21% to ₹3,792.11 million. The company continued to report losses on a standalone basis at ₹(45.02) million and on a consolidated basis at ₹(41.97) million, but losses narrowed sharply from ₹(224.92) million and ₹(230.27) million respectively a year ago. Standalone loss before tax improved to ₹(60.16) million from ₹(303.94) million, helped by lower finance costs. Auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
For shareholders, the picture is mixed: strong top-line growth above 20% on a consolidated basis signals healthy business momentum, but the bottom line remains in the red. The sharp narrowing of losses and reduction in finance costs are encouraging signs of operational improvement. The newly listed stock may see attention around this first quarterly print and the trajectory toward break-even.
