SMC Global Securities board meeting on May 2, 2026 approved annual audited financial results for FY 2025-26. The company reported consolidated revenue of Rs 1,88,448.72 lakhs, up from Rs 1,78,572.01 lakhs in the previous year. However, consolidated profit after tax declined to Rs 10,324.60 lakhs from Rs 14,681.16 lakhs in the prior year. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.60 per equity share (30% payout), which combined with the interim dividend already paid makes the total dividend Rs 1.20 per share (60% payout ratio) for FY 2025-26. This amounts to Rs 1,256.40 lakhs. Additionally, the company had issued bonus shares in November 2025 in a 1:1 ratio, doubling the equity share capital to Rs 4,188 lakhs.
The company is maintaining a consistent 30% payout ratio for the final dividend despite a significant 30% decline in net profit, which may raise questions about dividend sustainability. The 1:1 bonus issue last November has doubled shares outstanding, and the EPS is Rs 4.87 on a restated basis.
