SMC Global Securities reported FY26 consolidated total income of Rs 1,88,448.72 lakhs, up 5.5% from Rs 1,78,572.01 lakhs in FY25, driven by higher fees and commission income. However, profit after tax (PAT) declined significantly to Rs 10,324.60 lakhs from Rs 14,681.16 lakhs in FY25, a drop of about 30%. On standalone basis, total income was Rs 99,853.60 lakhs and PAT was Rs 8,131.68 lakhs versus Rs 10,526.14 lakhs in prior year. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.60 per share (30% payout), with total dividend for FY26 at Rs 1.20 per share including interim dividend. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
Despite modest revenue growth, the sharp decline in profitability (PAT down ~30% YoY) may create negative sentiment among investors. The dividend payout remains intact, which could provide some support to the stock. However, the earnings contraction is a concern for shareholders.
