SML Isuzu reported July 2025 total sales of 1,427 units, up 18.6% from 1,203 units in July 2024. Cargo vehicle sales surged 53.2% to 449 units, while passenger vehicle sales grew 7.5% to 978 units. For the cumulative April–July 2025-26 period, total sales rose 13.8% to 6,353 units versus 5,582 units last year, driven mainly by a 48.1% jump in cargo vehicles. Passenger vehicle volumes in the same period were up a modest 4.7%, indicating softer demand in that segment.
Strong double-digit volume growth, especially in the cargo segment, signals improving commercial vehicle demand and should be viewed positively by shareholders. However, the much weaker growth in passenger vehicles suggests uneven recovery, which may limit the upside sentiment.
