Sobhagya Mercantile Ltd has published its audited standalone results for the quarter and year ended 31 March 2026 in Business Standard and Mumbai Lakshadweep. Total income from operations for FY26 rose to Rs 23,250.41 lakhs from Rs 15,728.42 lakhs in FY25, a growth of about 48% year-on-year. Net profit after tax for FY26 increased to Rs 2,203.87 lakhs from Rs 1,553.08 lakhs, up roughly 42% YoY. For Q4 FY26 alone, total income jumped to Rs 8,149.51 lakhs (vs Rs 5,662.81 lakhs in Q4 FY25), though Q4 PAT after tax dipped to Rs 567.18 lakhs from Rs 757.60 lakhs last year. Basic EPS for FY26 stood at Rs 30.93 versus Rs 21.80 in FY25. Reserves also grew sharply to Rs 18,309.60 lakhs from Rs 7,145.08 lakhs, while paid-up equity capital rose to Rs 974.85 lakhs from Rs 840 lakhs, suggesting a fresh share issuance during the year.
Strong full-year growth in revenue and profits is positive for shareholders, supported by a sharp jump in reserves and higher EPS. However, the YoY decline in Q4 profit after tax and the increase in share capital (potential dilution) may temper near-term sentiment.
