Somany Ceramics has halted production at its Kassar plant in Bahadurgarh, Haryana after GAIL (India) suspended natural gas supply to the facility. The disruption was caused by a gas leakage in GAIL's Gauna-Bawana pipeline at Chainage 17 km, triggered by heavy rainfall and flood-like conditions. GAIL has begun restoration work on the pipeline.
