South West Pinnacle Exploration held its first-ever earnings call on October 30, 2025, reporting strong Q2 FY26 results. Operating revenue jumped 128% year-on-year to INR 62 crores, EBITDA surged 326% to INR 15 crores (23.24% margin), and net profit grew 20-fold to INR 8.4 crores. For H1 FY26, revenue rose 81% YoY to INR 103 crores with net profit at INR 11 crores. The company secured new orders worth INR 85 crores in the quarter (including INR 15 crores from JSW Energy for coal exploration), pushing the order book to an all-time high of INR 412 crores. Revenue generation from the revised INR 153 crores Reliance CBM contract has commenced. Management guided 15-20% CAGR growth over the next 3-5 years, with international expansion via new JV in Oman and entry into commercial mining through a Jharkhand coal block (266 hectares, ~84 million tonnes reserves) expected to generate INR 300-400 crores annual revenue at peak.
The strong financial performance and record order book signal robust growth momentum, likely to be viewed positively by investors. However, management's reluctance to provide specific revenue or margin guidance, and the postponement of the INR 100 crore EBITDA run rate target from FY27 to FY28, may temper near-term expectations.
