Speciality Restaurants Limited reported Q1 FY26 standalone revenue from operations of ₹10,305.77 lakhs, up about 6.1% from ₹9,713.16 lakhs in Q1 FY25. However, standalone profit after tax fell roughly 20.5% to ₹568.12 lakhs (from ₹714.68 lakhs), with EPS at ₹1.18 versus ₹1.50. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew about 5.5% to ₹10,877.19 lakhs while PAT dropped around 33% to ₹512.12 lakhs, impacted by higher depreciation, lease rent and other expenses. The statutory auditor Singhi & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) limited review report on both standalone and consolidated results. Other income included a one-off gain of ₹43.16 lakhs from lease modification/termination.
Top-line growth remained modest while profitability took a clear hit due to higher operating costs, suggesting margin pressure for shareholders despite topline recovery. Mixed quarter — the stock reaction may depend on how the market weighs the cost inflation versus the modest revenue pickup.
