Speciality Restaurants has shared its Q4FY25 and FY25 investor presentation highlighting 15 consecutive quarters of profitable growth. The company operates 121 outlets (109 owned, 12 franchise) across India and overseas, with key brands like Mainland China (25% of revenue), Asia Kitchen (18%), and Oh! Calcutta (12%). FY25 consolidated revenue grew to ₹436.25 crore from ₹404.70 crore, but profit after tax fell sharply to ₹21.97 crore from ₹30.01 crore. Q4FY25 also showed weak sequential numbers, with standalone EBITDA dropping to ₹19.58 crore from ₹28.75 crore in Q3FY25. The company plans to expand Oriental Cuisine and Episode One outlets, and is refreshing the Mainland China and Asia Kitchen brands to drive same-store sales growth. Dine-in contributed 74.9% of restaurant sales while delivery made up 25.1% in Q4FY25.
Despite revenue growth, the sharp decline in full-year and Q4 profitability is a concern for shareholders, as rising costs (especially food, employee, and depreciation expenses) are eating into margins. However, ongoing expansion, brand refresh exercises, and stable dine-in sales provide some comfort for the medium-term outlook.
