SpiceJet has inducted two Boeing 737 aircraft into its fleet, completing all regulatory formalities and entering commercial service on November 26 and 29, 2025. The aircraft are currently deployed on key domestic and international routes including Delhi-Bangkok, Ahmedabad-Dubai and Ahmedabad-Kolkata. The addition aims to boost capacity, improve connectivity and handle rising passenger demand during the peak travel season. The airline operates a mix of Boeing 737s and Q-400s and remains focused on calibrated, responsible capacity expansion.
Modest positive signal for shareholders as fleet addition supports revenue growth potential during peak season, though the financial cost and impact on margins is not disclosed in this release.
