SpiceJet has finalized a lease agreement for five more Boeing 737 aircraft on damp lease, taking its total recent fleet additions to 10 aircraft. The new planes will start arriving in early October 2025 and will remain with the airline until May 2026, covering the peak winter season and the early summer of 2026. The airline said it is also in advanced discussions to lease more aircraft ahead of the winter 2025 schedule.
