SPML Infra Limited has submitted to NSE and BSE copies of newspaper advertisements regarding its proposed voluntary delisting of equity shares from the Calcutta Stock Exchange Limited (CSE). The advertisements were published in Business Standard (English and Hindi) and Arthik Lipi (Bengali) on 1st July 2025. The Board of Directors had approved this delisting application on 28th June 2025. The company clarified that its shares will continue to be listed on NSE and BSE, which have nationwide trading terminals. The company stated that CSE has had no trading activity for several years and the delisting will help reduce avoidable compliance and listing costs without harming investors.
Minor positive impact for shareholders as it reduces the company's compliance and listing costs. No impact on share liquidity since shares remain actively traded on NSE and BSE. Existing shareholders on CSE platform will need to migrate to NSE or BSE to continue trading.
